Asabi E. Goodman

Asabi is a Brisbane based entertainer (actor/ singer) with almost 40 years of experience in vocal and stage performance. Starting out in a travelling, church choir in the dusty plains of Oklahoma (USA), she has now called Brisbane home for the past 12 years. Currently, Asabi performs with a number of musical outlets, including pop/ rock covers band, First Summer, Pink tribute show, Raise Your Glass - The Australian Pink Show (as Aretha Franklin), Blues Brothers tribute show, The Soul Men, and Andrew, Asabi, and Friends, a jazz/ blues quartet. Asabi has also appeared in a number of stage productions, most notably, "Disenchanted" (Australian Premiere - Noosa and Melbourne for Mad About Theatre), as The Princess Who Kissed the Frog, "Flaws and All" (Brisbane for Monteagle & Lynch), as the Fairy Godmother, and "RESPECT: The Show" (Australia for McGee Entertainment) as Erma Franklin.

Asabi's musical tastes can be described as eclectic at best; ranging from the deep, soulful tunes of Aretha Franklin to the soothing sounds of crooners like Ella Fitzgerald and Lena Horn to the hard hitting bass of EDM. Throw in some funk and disco, a dollop of jazz, and top it all off with the silliness of the 80s and she's sorted!

Josh R H Daveta

Josh is an established singer/songwriter, actor, musician, writer, producer and cabaret artist from Brisbane, Australia.

Over the past 5 years he has lead the way with cabaret, touring with his critically acclaimed shows “Teenage Dreams”, “My Prerogative” and his brand defining return season show “Like Mariah”.

Josh grew up listening strictly to gospel music in his household but had a burning desire to listen to other genres of music and would record the Hot 30 countdown off the radio onto his cassette tape and fall in love with artists like Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera & Backstreet Boys. What a rebel!

With his degree in Popular Music, Josh’s music tastes specialise in Commercial Pop, RnB & Gospel music, oh and Mariah Carey (he believes is its own genre, haha) - Josh is 150% in love with music and loves talking about it even more!
